Introducing yourself

When you are introducing yourself to another people, you would use your first name in informal circumstances.

Situation 1:
Hello, my name is David. What’s your name?
Rosy
Where are you from Rosy?
I am from New Delhi. Where are you from?

Are you an Canadian?

Hello.
Hi,

Hello and Goodbye

All of these greetings are used in formal situations when we might say “ How do you do” in English, or meeting people who we do not know particularly well.
